Working together to change MN statute for jobseekers

In 2023 WorkWell MN spearheaded the formation of a cross sector working group to modify existing Minnesota statute to work better for jobseekers. The working group meets regularly and includes several WorkWell MN organizational representatives, Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) staff, and the Director of The Minnesota Association of Workforce Boards (MAWB). Discussions to date have focused on specific recommendations to expand eligibility requirements and change cost categories.
